Who owns the data in Alex?
You retain full ownership of all your data in Alex:
- Contact information
- Email contents and conversations
- Sales records and analytics
- Custom workflows and templates
- Integration configurations
We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
Can I export my data?
Yes, you can export your data at any time:
- Lead and contact exports
- Email conversation archives
- Task and activity logs
- Deal and opportunity records
- Analytics and reports
- Settings and configurations
Exports are available in CSV format.
How is my data protected?
We implement multiple layers of data protection:
- End-to-end encryption
- Secure data centers with physical protection using AWS's most secure servers
- Strict access controls and permissions
- Regular security audits and penetration testing
- Employee background checks
- Separation of customer data
- Regular backup procedures
- Disaster recovery planning
What happens to my data if I cancel?
If you cancel your subscription:
- You can export all your data before cancellation
- Data remains available for 30 days after cancellation
- After 30 days, data is moved to cold storage for 90 days
- After 120 days total, data is permanently deleted
- You can request immediate data deletion at any time
